My patients always get all my attention, I understand how important the vision is for you and my goal is to diagnose and treat promptly any eye disease so you to can enjoy life. I love to explain to my patients all about their eyes and together found the best solution for your specific eye problem. I feel happy to see you receiving an outstanding eye care. I enjoy to see patients all ages and help the little ones to grow up with healthy eyes and correct any eye movement problem as crossing eyes or double vision.

Meet Your Doctor

Graduated from University Pontificia Bolivariana where she received her Doctor in Medicine degree and specialized in Comprehensive Ophthalmology.

She completed a Postdoctoral research Fellow in Ophthalmology at the University of Oklahoma Dean McGee Eye institute and is a member of the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology.

She also gained a Headache Fellowship from University of South Florida, and specialized in Pediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus at University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. Dr. Cardenas is an active member of the American Association for Pediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus, and she has been a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology since 2011.
